About Us

She Unit Uganda is a registered community based organization that was founded by Namusaazi Christine in 2018.

The situation she went through as a child and as a teenager impacted her to start something that would empower the women in her region.

She Unit Uganda initially focused on providing free cosmetology training but it is now actively involved in climate change with a mission of creating inclusive and sustainable  solutions for combating climate prioritizing the empowerment of women and marginalized communities.

We're bridging the gap through Education & Vocational Training

We support marginalized girls and young women by addressing the challenges they face in accessing education.

These include gender inequality, poverty, early marriage, teenage pregnancy, and period poverty.

We empower school dropouts and those with limited opportunities by equipping them with practical skills—helping them build brighter, more sustainable futures.

WAGE-LOGO-1.png

In partnership with WAGE, we reached out to support schoolgirls by donating reusable sanitary pads and scholastic materials. Together, we’re addressing period poverty and helping girls stay in school with dignity and confidence.

Join Us in Empowering Girls for a Brighter Future!

Your support helps us provide sanitary pads, scholastic materials, and vocational tools to girls in marginalized communities across Uganda.

Work with She Unit Uganda to expand access to education, fight period poverty, and uplift girls through mentorship and skills training.
